The works aim to improve operational reliability, energy efficiency, and working conditions, while ensuring full compliance with Rio Tinto standards and applicable Australian regulations.
Scope of Works
The scope of works comprises the complete design, supply, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems across the Yandicoogina Mine Site, including processing plant control rooms, stockyard equipment, and laboratory facilities.
Works involve the decommissioning and removal of existing systems, installation of new ceiling-mounted cassette units and like-for-like replacements, and associated electrical upgrades, wiring, isolators, labelling, and distribution board modifications.
The project also includes building remediation works such as wall infills, door replacements, structural supports, and sealing improvements within the laboratory, as well as the installation of new outside air systems and ducting.
All works are to be coordinated with shutdown schedules where required and include full testing, commissioning, and certification, ensuring compliance with Rio Tinto standards, Australian Standards, and all relevant statutory and safety requirements.
