Project Overview
Located approximately 219km from Newman, WA, the Bina Bina In-Pit Facilities project involved the expansion and modernisation of undersized existing infrastructure to support a growing mining workforce.
Byblos Constructions delivered a full end-to-end solution, including civil works, concrete foundations, modular building installation, services integration and final commissioning. The project focused on creating durable, functional and modern amenities suited to remote site conditions.

Scope of Works
Byblos Constructions was responsible for the design coordination, supply, installation and commissioning of key site facilities, including:
- Supply and installation of 22 modular buildings
- Construction of crib / lunchroom facilities (60-person capacity)
- Development of 62-person office and meeting spaces
- Delivery of 480-person locker room facilities
- Construction of training rooms and ice room facilities
- Installation of all electrical, hydraulic and mechanical services
- Construction of concrete pathways, parking areas and bus drop-off zones
- Installation of breezeways and connecting infrastructure
- Full site integration and commissioning
Key Challenges
Remote Pilbara Location
- Operating in a remote environment required careful planning of logistics, procurement and workforce mobilisation.
- Byblos utilised a Pilbara-based workforce and regional supply networks to maintain programme certainty.
Live Site Integration
- Works were undertaken within an operational mining environment.
- Staged delivery and coordinated installation ensured minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
