Nameless Valley Road Truck Stop
In 2018, we undertook the project of designing and constructing a new truck stop on Nameless Valley Road for the Shire of Ashburton. The project involved not just building the truck stop but also clearing the area around it, installing fencing around the boundary, and putting in traffic bollards.
The outcome of this project is a truck stop that provides a convenient rest area for commuters. It includes bathrooms and shower facilities that are powered by solar energy. This development not only offers essential services for truck drivers and travellers but also demonstrates our commitment to incorporating sustainable practices into our infrastructure projects.
By completing the Nameless Valley Road Truck Stop project, we have added a valuable asset to the region’s transport network, catering to the needs of those on long journeys and promoting safer driving practices through the provision of rest facilities.
