Shire Of Ashburton Paraburdoo Bike Park Project
As a result of the 2021 Tom Price Bike Park Project’s success, the Shire of Ashburton has awarded us a contract to construct a bike park for the Paraburdoo community. To create an enjoyable and user-friendly environment for local BMX users and children learning to ride, our project includes a wide range of track functionalities. Building a new pump track facility, a learn-to-ride track, trail head and an expansion and upgrade to the existing dog park, were all part of the project’s scope.
As the project is progressing, it is a priority to install shade structures to assure park visitors’ comfort, along with electrical modifications that included floodlighting to extend the park’s usability into the evening. The project also has addressed the park’s practical needs, by improving water supplies, drainage systems, and visitor seating options.
The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024, and we expect it will greatly improve the social amenities that the community has access to, by offering a secure, well-equipped area for BMX enthusiasts and young riders. The new Paraburdoo Bike Park will operate as a thriving center of the community, promoting healthy lifestyles and providing an exclusive space for recreational activities.
