With more than two decades of experience across the construction industry, Tyrone Parkinson brings a rare depth of perspective to his role as Paraburdoo Operations Manager – one shaped in equal measure by trade craftsmanship, business ownership and large-scale project leadership. His career began as a working director of his own carpentry and construction company across New Zealand and Australia, where he was personally accountable for every facet of the business, from client relationships to project delivery. That grounding in ownership and accountability remains the hallmark of his leadership today.
Tyrone’s transition into large-scale FIFO construction with Civmec across the Pilbara marked the next chapter in a career defined by steady progression. Since joining Byblos Constructions in January 2024 as Site Manager, he has distinguished himself through disciplined, hands-on leadership and an unwavering commitment to safety and quality a reputation that saw him appointed Paraburdoo Operations Manager in March 2026. In this role, he holds full operational accountability for Byblos’ Paraburdoo project portfolio, directing site teams, stewarding key client relationships, and ensuring delivery to the highest standard.
A qualified carpenter and Section 44 Appointed Person, Tyrone leads from a foundation of genuine trade expertise and firsthand site experience. His approach is defined by clarity, integrity and an exacting standard of care qualities that have earned the trust of clients, colleagues and teams alike, and that continue to shape a culture of excellence and safety across Byblos’ Paraburdoo operations.
